Community Nursing

Social & Community Engagement

Our team at SECH will open up opportunities for you to participate in social events, sports clubs, arts & craft classes, drama or singing classes, community volunteering and more. If you would like to take a day trip, join a social group or learn a new skill, we connect you with the best local groups and programs. We can also provide transport, companionship and support when you're out and about. We help you take part in as much or as little social activity as you aspire to.

Life Skills

With this capacity building support you can grow in leaps and bounds. Our approachable support workers will have a one-on-one discussion with you about what areas of life you want to improve on, and we'll help you build on these using innovative methods. We help to equip you with life skills such as grocery shopping, using public transport, budgeting, or using the internet to find supports. You can also learn behavioural skills, communication skills or relationship skills to help you grow as a person and improve your relationships with the people around you.
